Gary Hewlett to speak at The Wedding Show, Aotea Centre, Auckland on 13th September 2009

Gary Hewlett Photography are delighted to announce that Gary Hewlett, our founder and principal photographer, will be speaking at The Wedding Show, Aotea Centre in Auckland this coming Sunday 13th September 2009.
Gary will be speaking on the subject of “10 Tips for Choosing your Wedding Photographer”, a topic with which he is well acquainted, both as a professional photographer and also as a recent client.
“Choosing your wedding photographer is a huge decision” said Gary, commenting on the announcement. “My clients look for a wedding photographer once in their lives, and so it is not something that any of them are expert at. It is up to us as professional photographers to educate our clients in a way which is not condescending, arrogant or self-serving, but which is instead informative, friendly and low-pressure”.
“At Gary Hewlett Photography we want our clients to be clients for life. We want to be able to photograph all of the key moments in their lives, from babies to retirement. The only way we are going to do that is if they trust us, and they will trust us if we give them solid advice from day one, even if it means that they go to another photographer. If they do choose someone else, at least we know they have done so on the basis of accurate information.”
